Alta Mira Treatment Centers provide extensive treatment in all avenues of recovery, from chemical dependency to eating disorders. They have an international clientele to which they provide holistic healing options for the worlds high society.
They recently redesigned their site in flash, and quickly ran into problems of large file sizes resulting in slow load times, not to mention no search engine indexing. They wanted to keep the smooth feel of flash while reducing the load time for their site, and having every page index-able.
Working with their staff designer a site was constructed maintaining the flash header while shifting the navigation to CSS and JavaScript. We maintained the clean look flash provided while having every text element of the site displayed using pure CSS/XHTML to maximize their search engine presence.
